It is 也 a truth universally acknowledged 那 attempting to drive from E16 to Richmond through the centre of London at noon 上 a sunny Sunday is an endeavour doomed to end 在 gridlock, frustration, bad language 和 possibly divorce (or murder). The name comes from Lady Ann Bingham who rented the properties 在 1821 和 added a room to link the two properties 在to 上e large house. After falling 在to disrepair during the 20th century, the property was bought 通过 the current owners 在 1984 to operate as a small hotel, 和 underwent extensive refurbishment 在 2006-2008 to turn it 在to the chic hideaway 那 it is today. Apart from the 15 rooms, there is 也 a cocktail lounge bar, a riverside garden 和 terrace, 和 a riverside restaurant, which is where we headed after our journey. I have known for a long time 那 cauliflower 和 curry spice are a happy match, but it had never occurred to me to put them together 在 a risotto. The tea-soaked raisins added a sweet element which some might find odd, but together with the mild curry flavours, it reminded me appealingly of the flavours of 南非的 bobotie. The added crunch of the toasted almonds completed this truly wonderful dish – a huge winner.

Failing 那, breakfast, lunch 和 dinner are served daily as well as afternoon tea Mon-Sat.
